Supporting the development of AJAX applications with Sesame

Description

AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) is recently becoming popular as a way of developing more responsive user interfaces for web applications. This is achieved by moving parts of the processing from the server side to the client side (i.e. inside the browser). In today's browsers the only generally supported programming language is JavaScript. Thus the idea would be to develop a Javascript client for Sesame which would support roughly the same operations that other client libraries/interfaces support, but minimally querying, adding and removing information on a statement level. Further, it would be very useful for supporting JSON as a response format for queries. JSON is very easy to process in JavaScript and it is popular in combination with AJAX. See for example the web services offered by Yahoo! such as their term extraction web service.
